Rose chafer

Husband set off early to go and collect son number two from university. I let the window man in and then headed off to pilates. The washer was on for most of the day following son number two's return. It was a lovely afternoon and we spent some time lazing in the garden while the window fitter worked on the new bifold door.

This rose chafer was plodding around in some dried leaves. The shine on the body when the sun was out was amazing and it changed colour from bronze to green depending on the angle that you viewed it at. So nice to have seen a couple of these this year.

Still having to put a false location on my photos to get them to upload so that I can get round the 'lat_invalid' message that still comes up. I think it might happen when the camera hasn't quite decided on the location before the photo is taken. Really annoying that Blip haven't sorted this out yet.
