Seed head

This blousy oriental poppy seed head still looks good even though it has dropped its petals. A brilliant sunny day and a bit warmer. Long may it last! Walked round the Brockelsby estate near here this morning, saw temples, an ice house and a mausoleum but this poppy and the little orange tip taken on the estate win the day.
