Light on St Peter

Arriving at the church of St James the Greater in Leicester for the Bach Choir summer concert this evening, I noticed that a shaft of light was falling on St Peter.

It was a marvellous, uplifting concert, full of spiritual music. We sang pieces in Russian by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Chesnakov, Labinski and Grechnakov, followed by pieces by two American composers. Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre and Lux Aeterna by Morten Lauridsen.

This lighting was a prequel.
