Eggy Soldiers

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the King's horses and all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!

This is one of the first pictures my friend Stevyn Colgan painted when he was teaching himself to paint. Sadly, it is just a print but I love it all the same. Steve cringes when he looks at it now as he can see so much that is wrong with it, but I just love its naivety and the wonderful humour and colours in it. And 'eggy soldiers' is still one of my favourite breakfasts!
