The Clifton

A blip from close to home as I live in Clifton. Not this Clifton as it's the local bingo hall but in the area of York known as Clifton. This was formerly Clifton Cinema which opened in 1937 and survived much longer than similar small cinemas finally closing in 1964. The good thing is, that little has been changed to this building so many of the original features remain and some of the windows are particularly of note. Perhaps a blip in the future.
