Come Fly with Me

We spent most of the day at Alnwick Castle - used for location scenes in Harry Potter and last year's Christmas special for Downton Abbey.

This is Harriet taking broomstick flying instructions from the resident wizarding professor. She's on the very spot where Harry had his first flying lesson in the film production of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.


We have just arrived home after a very big detour to avoid all the congestion on the M62. I am absolutely shattered again and have to work tomorrow.
