More cake...

T, William's childminder and her two lovely girls popped round this morning to see how the patient was. T was visibly shocked by the extent of Carys's spots and she has seen a fair few kids with the pox. They also brought with them these cakes for Carys and William, baked yesterday by some of the other kids T minds, who also know Carys.

Whilst Carys is feeling much better, she has some very persistent pox that are refusing to scab so she is still housebound. She has her best friend coming over to play tomorrow (she has already had it) so hopefully that will cheer her up.

William is now on antibiotics for an infected blister on his foot and is feeling very sorry for himself and my immune system has done its normal trick of swelling my tonsils and giving me generalized aches, due to lack if sleep this week. Just typical as I was enjoying running again! Jim also has a few aches, but that could just be down to him starting to run again.

Think I might go and paint a red cross on our front door and be done with it!
