Mono Monday - Curves

Still not feeling 100%, and unwilling to wander far from home, so again I nipped out into the garden to find a subject. These insect eggs had been laid on the petals of an oriental poppy. The original colours of green and red were quite startling, but mono shows up the egg structure better. My resident entomologist is away at the moment, but I'm sure he'll tell me who they belong to when he returns on Wednesday night. I used a macro lens and extension tubes to capture this cluster, which is only 7mm across at its widest point.
