Transporter Bridge

An early morning jog from the hotel to the River Tees and the remarkable Transporter Bridge.
First opened in 1911, the bridge is the longest of its type existing in the world.
This morning the bridge was closed due to high winds, but that didn't stop the abseilers and bungee jumpers setting up.
I returned later with BivBov and the boys to watch the excitement.
