Well the event of the day was the fledgling crow which the children found on the field ! It had a damaged foot and, of course, in spite of bring told to leave it , several of them had to pick it up and bring it in to school. The RSPCA finally came to take it off for treatment much the relief of all adults.
It's been a gloriously hot and still day so I went out for a walk this evening. The blip is a collage of wild flowers, a budding thistle and a silver ground carpet moth which was resting on a bramble leaf.
Lovely to see everything bursting with life.
