The work begins

Good to see work has started ( at last) to save Dunoon's fine Victorian Pier which Argyll & Bute Council has allowed to deteriorate for too long.

The company involved are using a new technique to preserve the timbers and I look forward to seeing the structure restored to all its glory - eventually.
