Beauty in death

Another day inside, still very average with a cough that won't go away, and weather that is rather gloomy, had to find a blip. The dead head of the peace lily was looking rather brown and dried up but with some help from textures and colours tried to give it a new life.
Yesterday I had been watching Julieanne Kost on lynda.com with a tutorial on compositing which I enjoyed immensely. Thought I would try out some of her techniques today, and what looked rather simple when she was working, became not at all simple in fact not at all do able! I think I need to watch again, and work on the computer while she is teaching....maybe then a little might stick!
