Because I'm a 'certain class of person'

Or at least, that's what it says on the Blue Mountains City Council website.

This is my backyard and today I spent over six hours collecting fallen timber, bark, logs, fallen over trees etc from our back yard and then set fire to them!  It looks marginally better to me, but I don't expect that you could tell.  It was the perfect day for it - still and as the day progressed, damp. And I am now, frankly, exhausted.

I checked that it was ok to do this by looking at the council website.  According to BMCC, a 'certain class of person' can do a burnoff without approval if they fulfil certain criteria.  Bushland conservation zoning - yes, thankyou - that's me!
