Where the Light Gets In

Out on the street

It's a sad thing when you don't acknowledge a fellow human - and this happens all the time, more and more, we all look for a shelter within the confines of our minds, or in the music we listen, headphones firmly in place, absent to the world. In a way, I think my camera is such a tool, too, to keep me from being hurt too much by the violence of the world that surrounds us. Sometimes I see it, though, and I want to bear witness to it.

There you have it. It makes me realise even more how privileged I am.

Slim pickings.
