First water lily

It is always exciting to see the very first water lily of the summer appear on the pond - there will be plenty more! There are tall yellow irises out too. I look forward to the first dragonflies!
This afternoon we had a long, but very good meeting on the village history project. My head is whizzing with even more facts and fascinating information!
