Before School . . .

I collected up the collage pictures that had be drying overnight.  When I picked up this one I smiled.  It was made by Taris who is six.  She has cut up material pieces and glued them on to make a picture that shows her in her winter clothes.  Often when I get children to do this they get fed up with cutting and just slap on bits of material anywhere.  I love her black tights and pink boots.  I put the picture in my window so the background would show the bleak morning and the type of housing around my school.  We are not an affluent area and these children rise above their circumstances.
