The Norwegian (376) arrives at Tenterden

We've my cousin Christine to stay for a few days this week so we're showing her some of the sights of Kent and around. Of course she had see the KESR at Tenterden and as luck would have it we arrived at the station to find the crossing gates closed and 376 storming up the hill from Rolvenden - a fine sight indeed.

We spent a happy hour at the station, looking at the railway artifacts, in the shop and soaking up the atmosphere of this lovely little station. Earlier we'd called in at Biddenden vineyards for a bit of a wine tasting and afterwards wandered the main street of Tenterden, having lunch, perusing the shops, buying a few things, looking in St Mildred's Church. Fortunately the weather was kinder today - still breezy but sunny and a little warmer.
