.....between the 'Make' and the 'Do' and you've got the name of our new drop-in much-more-than-just-sewing group at the local library (because hopefully it'll be more about Making and Doing rather than MakeDoing)......the meeting about a little bit of seed funding for some basic equipment seemed to go well yesterday but we're all good to go even without it. Oh, and the best bit had to be being stopped on the stairs on the way out by a lovely lady who'd overheard the meeting (we had it in the main body of the library) and really wants to come along next week!!

EDIT: Just had an email from my 'Care and Connect' lady to say funding has been approved......it's not a lot but might make all the difference! (mind you, I did mention the possibility of cake and photoshopping her in-or-out of any promotional/record images;-))

In other news......
Carriethecat brought a bumble bee in from the garden half an hour ago, she spat it out and it's now buzzing around SOMEWHERE in the house.....I can hear it every now and then but I can't see it.........
