VIC 32

My friend Nick was in the garden today with some of his guests enjoying a week on his puffer, VIC 32. I wish I'd had my camera with me when he lay down on the lawn, hat tipped over face, wide and very pictorial braces on show!

I didn't, so had to be content with a picture of his boat at anchor off the garden. Another wonderfully warm and sunny day today!

My extra picture today is of Meconopsis punicea 'Sichuan Silk', a perennial form of the notoriously difficult and usually monocarpic red poppywort. I was given six of them at Gardening Scotland - a wonderful present!
