Poser

Self important seagull posing on a celtish cross outside the Penlee House Art Gallery and Museum in Penzance. It is the only Cornish gallery specialising in artists from the Newlyn School including those who focussed on the Lamorna Valley and St Ives. My favourite artist at the gallery is Harold Harvey who was one of the few Newlyn school painters born in Penzance. He painted scenes of working class life and Cornish landscapes.
We also went to the Leach Pottery studios and workshops outside St Ives. Altogether a very cultural day.
