Our own Spineless Si

It was after watching the underwater goings on on Springwatch of their stickleback 'Spineless Si' that I spotted a stickleback busily fanning his nest in the brook that runs beneath our front drive. We're checking daily for stickleback fry and hoping this weekend's forecast rain doesn't whip the brook up into a torrent and wash the nest away.
