Forget-Me-Nots...

Just incase you're wondering how we resolved yesterday's dilemma, the answer is we went our for a run in the MEGA fast Audi S7.   

Beautiful evening, lots of lovely scenery, camera at the ready but very few photos taken as on the bendy bits the car was getting tested for traction and on the straight bits it was getting tested on its 0-60mph in three seconds!   Oh and in between all that the windows were going up and down so I could fully appreciate the purr of the engine.  Or something like that.  D still a petrol head at age 48. Who knew??!!

And back to today.  Tesco delivery has arrived so I will shortly be relocating to the kitchen to start food prep for friends coming for dinner tomorrow night.  I have deliberately chosen dishes that can be made in advance so i can relax tomorrow.  Hectic today instead though.  Still the sun is shining, the windows and back door will be wide open, music playing and before I know it my meringues will be whipped, soufflés in the fridge and the salmon prepped.

That's the theory anyway.  The reality will be me over heating, dishes everywhere, food everywhere (including the floor) and the odd swear word thrown in for good measure.  On the upside, planning to have dinner in the garden this evening before the weather turns rainy again tomorrow.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!
