Rocky Mountain High

We have reached the most southerly tip of Corsica and have now turned inland. The weather was a bit stormy this morning with rumbles of thunder and big blobs of rain, but it never really came to much. We headed inland to make the journey back north because by all accounts the east coast isn't so great, and we know the middle of the island is spectacularly mountainous. We came over the Col De Bavella which is incredibly scenic and stopped to take pictures at the top. So did lots of other people so it was hard finding a shot without someone's leg or head in the way.
This is possibly the most beautiful spot on the island, but is a stopping point on the GR 20 walking route and has been spoiled in our opinion by the tatty cluster of refuge huts for walkers. Never mind you can't see them from this angle.
