Through the barrier

Lucky enough today to be taken on a personal tour of the Thames flood barrier today. Fascinating place carrying out a vital role.
As my gas terminal has 3 jetties, we understand first hand the importance of flood defences, so it was great to see the barrier, as it sets the flood control levels right down to to the Thames estuary, where we are.
