Edinburgh filled my mind today.  Tickets to the castle - tick; maps of various places of interest including Holyrood where the infamous murder of Mary Queen of Scot's secretary took place in front of the heavily pregnant Queen - tick; notes on Arthur's Seat and a note to check out the little wooden coffins.....
