Damselfly

Went for a walk around Fort Brockhurst Moat to see if the cygnets were doing ok, and great news there are still 5 of them all looking healthy, I could not believe how they’ve  grown

But try as I might I could not get a good shot of them all together as they always seemed to have their heads under the water feeding

While I was sitting there waiting this lovely Damselfly (Calopteryx Virgo) decided to settle on a nettle just by my side.

It was quite happy to sit there and let me take several shots of it before flying off
