Rained Off

A lot of outdoor events have been rained off in the county of Northamptonshire today. One that went ahead despite the continuous rain and dark skies was Northampton Carnival, though inevitably, the expected crowds were far smaller than anticipated. It's such a disappointment when lots of preparation and expectation are dampened by the good old British summer weather. Still, the Brits are used to disappointment where the weather's concerned.
