Red rose

From my overgrown garden. Such a mess that I have decided to dig it all up and start again. (Fortunately it's not very large...)
This rose needs drastic cutting back but I have to wait until it's finished flowering  - and there are still buds yet to blossom...
Our local MP, Jeremy Corbyn, is in the running for labour party leader. At least he has the courage of his convictions and won't be swayed by the "this is what makes us electable" school of thought. Perhaps he could bring the 'soul' back into politics. I am not (party) political although I do have strong political opinions,,,
