Wild Rose

Wild Rose

Today has been spent working in the garden, to the exclusion of everything else.  Mrs GOG, Victoria and I have levelled and prepared the garden for seeding, prior to completing our seeding before tonight’s rain sets in.  The lawn should, in a few days, if all goes well, start to look like it used to.  There is still some work to be done around the sides of the pond at the bottom of the garden, where much of the soil has washed down, infilling the pond and needs to be dug out and replaced on its banks.  After this is completed the garden will be where it was some fifteen months ago.  This progress is shown in my additional blip picture for today; once there is grass there I will blip it again.

Today’s main picture is a Wild Rose, for Alma, who used to visit my blip regularly.
