Enjoying the View

It is supposed to be another hot and humid day.  So I decided to head out early to enjoy the somewhat enjoyable early morning weather (77 degrees at 5 AM).  

I drove into Washington, DC (about 15 min from my house), parked and walked over to the National Mall.  Surprisingly, there were only two people sitting by the reflecting pool and no one was at the Lincoln Memorial.  

I sat here for about 90 minutes with two mother ducks and their babies (each had 11) enjoying the quiet and the beautiful view.
