Lipstick & Pride

Wonderful day exploring Gothenburg/Goteborg - what a fabulous city.

A boat trip took us along canals, under more than 20 bridges and out into the sea harbour. The architecture along the way was eclectic but fab - this building is called The Lipstick Tower.

Then we watched the awesome Pride West parade - what a joyful, uplifting thing it was. All human life represented, celebrating diversity and love. I laughed, danced and cried more than once, it was so moving. Fantastic to see so so many young people as part of it too - alongside those who have fought for equality for many years. It was a huge event as well - it took well over an hour and a quarter for the whole parade to pass by - and they were going at some pace too!
