Italy, USA and Frankenstein!

Dashed up to the next village after church to have a swift drink with the "Sunday Walkers"  i.e to get hubby out of the pub as we had to get to Leeds by train.
Walked round the Trinity Centre (see metal horse in extras) to find somewhere to eat before going to watch our grandchildren take part in a show at Leeds Town Hall.  Too much choice with all the restaurants there - all very interesting, but as they had eaten there before and knew it was good, daughter and son-in-law took us to Carluccio's.  Yum - lovely food, and my lemon spritz went down a treat.
Off to the show, and was impressed by the decorative Town Hall interior.  Fabulous roof (shot in extras, but rather too much light at the sides) and pipe organ.  The children and teenagers from all the groups (Leeds groups, Keighley and York) were all excellent doing everything from comedy and well known musicals, American classics to an excellent Frankenstein song and dance story.  A very enjoyable evening for everyone.  Another extra is the metal seagulls seen on the way back to the station.  Like Leeds!
