The view from Alki

Spencer desperately wanted to go out and get some exercise and he's always nagging about how I never use the bicycle I bought for myself, so I suggested we take the Alki trail out to the beach for the afternoon. From our apartment, it was about 17 miles round trip, so a decent amount of riding. We stopped at an Asian grocery in Little Saigon on our way and got fruit and rice crackers and for snacks, and we had a little picnic and played cribbage on the beach when we arrived. Our Saturday was all barbecues and cocktails, so I would say we had a pretty nice spring (summer, since it was 88 degrees) weekend.
