Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

Teeth!

A toothache, or a violent passion, is not necessarily diminished by our knowledge of its causes, its character, its importance or insignificance.

T. S. Eliot. American poet. 1888-1965

Talpa is not a happy bunny this morning, having awoken in the early hours with a raging toothache. Thus it was that he came to be peering out of the bedroom window as the sun rose. The local mallards were already up and about their business; these three drakes were sitting on the roof ridge, surveying the countryside, in the hope of spotting a female that they could molest. There is nothing at all subtle about the sex life of a mallard, nor about toothache!

Off to the dentist soon in the hope that he can cure me.
