Life is like a river

The Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum

On this lovely Sunday we went on a little road trip to see "Safnasafnið"/The Icelandic Folk and Outsider Art Museum and visit Grenivík.  More photos HERE.
Outside the museum we met Yvette Molina and she asked if we would like to participate in one of her projects where she photographs the clothing of local Icelanders.  This is a part of a bigger project, The Suitable World, where Joshua Michéle-Ross "documents a 21-day journey across Iceland wearing a single three-piece suit.   It is about seeking economy, beauty and utility in the things we carry with us.  It is also a meditation on trying to preserve the things we love against the relentless wearing effect of time."  Very interesting, and of course we agreed :)
