Almost Bare

We had a very hard frost this morning. There was ice on the puddles in the Taylor Dam Reserve. Luckily the cold start was followed by a gloriously sunny day. This weeping willow beside the lake is a favourite tree of mine. I have blipped it in the past. Today it is still tightly clutching the last of its autumn garb. Another hard frost and some strong winds and it will drop the rest of its leafy clothing and stand naked along with other trees around the lake.
