Flesh Fly (could be wrong though)

Came across this fly today, I know it may not be everyones cup of tea but I am always keen to capture little beasties close up as I like seeing their little bits of weaponry. I do rather like the bristles on the legs and back of this one.

I did also have photos of dragonflies, cows, countryside and views as potentials today but somehow this fly wins.

This head on shot of a blue damselfly came very close though.
