Hog

It's been sighted before, snuffling around in the dark hopefully scoffing all the snails and the few slugs that seem to live around here. None of the worms, I hope, although they are known to be partial to a big worm. This morning it was just sitting on the grass as I left for work and didn't seem to mind me poking my camera in its face and then my phone. Good excuse to avoid disturbing the weeds and piles of wood that have accumulated at the side of the garden.

The day's excitement was getting a free ride on the train home.
