Basin

The basin in the family bathroom has been cracked for ages (a 1st world problem I realise) and I haven't got round to doing anything about it. On Sunday I went to a car boot sale looking for a large bevelled mirror and a wine rack. I didn't find either but I did find this Villeroy & Boch basin complete with posh taps and all the connecting bits underneath. It's very large and I took a chance that it will fit in to replace the cracked one. My plumber friend popped round this evening to discuss "strategy" as regards basin replacement. He sighed a bit but agreed that it would fit and would probably look pretty good. Fingers crossed. I have to go and find a bit of replacement worktop now.
