Provincial campgrounds

If there's one thing the government of British Columbia knows how to do right it's build campgrounds. Glorious campsites carved out of the woods, each with a table and fire pit. Hot showers, flush toilets just along the lane. And a man that drives around at regular intervals with a trolley of firewood at $7 a blue bin. Marvellous.

Phone snap of the canopy on site 103 at Gordon Bay. We're the only ones up this end. No neighbour's (except deer... and possibly bears). The kids aren't out of school yet.

We have the shower block all to ourselves.  Shower hogs, we are.

Busy day making Ceasars, reading trashy magazines and stoking the fire pit. The Scrabble board is on deck.  I shall try not beat the crap out of Nikki.  She will cry.

We are the best campers ever.
