through hoops

No jumping involved simply getting the ball through the hoops, although in the few minutes I was watching, the ball didn't get anywhere near one. Never did understand the game but it seems a very genteel evening pastime. Don't often venture south of the river, but it made for a pleasant evening's stroll.
