Creel Fishing

The forecast for this afternoon was for wind and rain, so a morning walk up on the cliffs was the sensible option!  Lots of gulls and fulmars about, tufts of blue thrift and sea pinks everywhere, it was lovely.  The sun shining and the sea being every shade of blue from turquoise to navy,  made it even more special.

This lobster fisherman was busy lifting his creels and the gulls were hoping there would be some fishy bits for them!

The forecast was right - lashing wind and rain, good job I've got most tall plants well staked!  Much needed water for the garden though, as the wind recently has really dried out the top soil.
