Joshua Reynolds paints clouds...

Statue of Joshua Reynolds in courtyard of Royal Academy. Overlooking the Conrad Shawcross sculpture 'Dappled Light of the Sun' that has been erected for this year's Summer Exhibition.
This is one of the stops on the West End walk we are doing for German students next Monday. Still need to work out a few details which is what took me to the RA today.
(Posting this picture on Wednesday. Intended to post first thing this morning but got up to a power cut. Very disconcerting. No shower. No coffee...)
