Degree Show

Me and Riot took a look around the ECA degree show. It's a bit sprawling so we headed for the photography stuff first, then nosed about some of the other stuff before heading down the road to see the illustration stuff. 

As usual, it was a very mixed bag. A lot of the time you're left wondering what exactly you're supposed to be looking at. As far as the photography stuff went, Mark Osborne's dark abstract stuff really stood out to me. The rest wasn't my cup of tea.

That said, it's pretty unfair to judge them on one piece of work to sum up for years of their study. I'm sure a lot of them have stuff I'd like better in their portfolios.
