Yellow iris

Went for a short and slow bimble along the brook today with my friend M - it was so nice to get out and about.  There were quite a number of these yellow irises along the banks of the brook.  It always amazes me how such beautiful plants can be found in the wild.  And an extra bonus is that my mum's middle name was Iris, so they make me think of her.
