Feast

While nationally the WI is celebrating its centenary, our own WI this evening had a 45th birthday party. Like at all good parties, there was plenty to eat. Everybody brings a plate of finger food. Nobody organises what we should bring, but somehow it all works out.
There are still ten founder members of which I am one. i remember those early days when we all had young children and the secretary was pregnant. Tonight members filled in a questionnaire about their age and their life style so that we can get a picture of an average centenary member of our WI.
