The Brood

The Kestrels have done really well this year.  Four lovely fat chicks!  They've taken to sunbathing in the last of the evening rays.  They came to put the rings on their legs at the weekend and all are in the best health.  

There are far more people aware of the nest this year and the chicks are very accepting of the passers by who stop to watch their antics. Another few days and they'll be hopping around on the branches. 

Life's busy at the moment and the long days mean I'm out later, eat later and time either runs out or I have no energy to blip in the evenings. A break was needed... will back blip in the next couple of days.  It's going to be fun finding all the days on the various cards!
