Cornering Relief

I've had this corner, or at least the wall on my toblip list for a while, it's just not that photogenic. However the... is it a statue if it is actually built into the wall?... statue of the dog seems perfect for today's WideAngleWednesday theme of "Corner" (thanks to osuzanna for hosting).

I have not seen anything like this before but there should be more of it... no?
