Balancing Blackbird

Thankfully the nasty filling was straightforward and I emerged from the dentist relieved and glad to be not returning for six months!  Then it was back to the decorating and the walls now have their first coat, the ceiling being finished, yahey.

I took a break and a walk up to Coppice Pond with Lawrie's lens to see if there was anything to blip, but it was very quiet.  The iris are out so I will have to return before they disappear.  Back home I sat close to the elder tree and watched a nuthatch, blue tits and blackbirds going backwards and forwards.  I've gone with this female blackbird because she was doing such a good job of balancing on the washing line whilst trying to get the fat bits!
