hightailing it...

...to the movies and a snap decision on a grey day to sit in a darkened room with Jude Law, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Miranda Hart, Rose Byrne and a choctop in 'Spy'.
Saw the trailer a few months ago...trailers often notorious for having all the best bits packed into 90 seconds...and with a cast like that decided it too good to miss when it appeared on a 'screen near you'.

What a treat.
Laugh out loud funny and an 'ott' smorgasbord of Bondi-like heroes, villains and gorgeous girls, indestructible action heroes, stunning locations, nuclear devices and diamonds (of course) and heroic Bondish score and theme tune.

A grand total of nine packed into the cinema and with the exception of the big bloke and his supersized popcorn and pepsi who planted himself on the front row, the rest of us hunkered down in the centre seats of the back three rows and eight seats of the 149 available!
Much snorting and hooting, slurping and crunching in a very fun two hours.
